The Government of the Irkutsk Region plans to introduce new measures to support business
Acting Governor of the Irkutsk Region Igor Kobzev at a press conference on June 3 announced new measures to support business, which are planned to be introduced in 2021 "for the period of getting out of restrictions" related to the coronavirus.
Kozev said that "a significant role in this period will play" the provision of interest-free loans for salaries. In addition, he announced the provision of soft loans for small and medium-sized businesses with a rate of 3 or 6%. Loans for businesses from sectors of the economy affected by the coronavirus will be provided at 3%.
From 2021, the government plans to abolish the tax on imputed income. It is paid by 40 thousand organizations in the Irkutsk region in the amount of 1.5 billion rubles.
Kobzev also announced the forthcoming subsidies for industrial enterprises. Also, according to the Acting Governor, the issue of reimbursement of costs for the construction of apartment buildings "by providing property tax benefits" up to 50% and up to 100% — if it comes to the construction of social and cultural facilities is being considered.
The Acting Governor also appealed to the deputies of the Legislative Assembly with a request to support the extension of the benefits already introduced.
